"I feel lucky to be part of a team where we can stay human, where we can learn, make mistakes, laugh, stop, start again and then do better and better."

In 2013 I graduated from the University of Miskolc in mediation. Currently I am a mediator, restorative facilitator, trainer and project leader of Partners Hungary Foundation, and a trainer of Connected Parenting, a trauma-informed methodology for parents and educators. My primary qualifications are as a language teacher and translator, I have worked as an interpreter and journalist, in multinational settings and in the advocacy sector, and I have also volunteered in family homes. I work with kindergarten and school teachers and children in the Partners Hungary Foundation's pre-school and conflict management programmes, as well as with school psychologists and social sector workers. I work with disadvantaged individuals and groups as a trainer and mentor. My mediation and restorative practices encourage constructive communication, reflect emotional needs and help to restore or, ultimately, bring equitable closure to disconnected relationships.

As a professional and a private person, I am most concerned with the idea of "conflict as an opportunity". My experience has shown that with the right professional methods, communication and empathy, you can get much more out of a difficult situation than you might at first sight you would think. In my work as a trainer and conflict manager, I look for situations that offer opportunities for self-reflection and understanding.
