Come and learn stress management at Partners!
Stress is with us, it's an integral part of our lives, it's not harmful in itself, but it's how we react to it, how we deal with it. If we can manage stress well, it can make us more effective, but unmanaged, prolonged stress can make us ill, sap our positive energy and lead to burnout. Perhaps never before has there been such a need to manage growing tensions well.
Williams Life Skills® (WÉK) training, where you can learn 10 methods and techniques that will help you to:
- be able to handle life situations in a stress-conscious way,
- choose the most appropriate tool and method when you need to get involved and resolve a conflictual, stressful situation because it is important, justified, possible and worthwhile for you,
- be able to stand up for your interests and say no while looking after your relationship with the other person,
- be able to communicate more effectively and take better, more conscious care of your relationships,
- be able to reduce the stress of a situation by using a variety of tools if you decide there is no reason to get involved in a stressful situation.
The training is practice-oriented; after short theoretical introductions, we work with our own life situations, learning from each other. The training will be conducted by Éva Deák, who is a certified trainer of the Selye János Hungarian Society for Behavioural Science and Behavioural Medicine.
The 20-hour training dates:
- 19 and 20 June from 10.00 to 16.00; 26 and 27 June from 10.00 to 16.00, with a lunch break of 1 hour per day.
