At the workshop, teachers from the Kisk\u0151r\u00f6s EGYMI, using the Step by Step methodology, provided up-to-date pedagogical responses to the following challenges:<\/p>\n
The professional day started with demonstration sessions in the kindergarten and with demonstration lessons in the school, both in the lower and upper grades.<\/p>\n
This was followed by an informal discussion and lunch, then Mari Z\u00e1gon, the professional leader of the Step by Step programme, held an interactive workshop, where the guests could not only observe but also actively participate in the elements of the programme. The idea behind the sessions is to organise tasks around children's interests, and learning often takes place through active action. The teacher's personalised, encouraging feedback helps children to feel motivated to try the tasks again and again, and to choose for themselves what they want to improve at.
\nMore than seventy people took part in the event: kindergarten teachers, teachers, teachers, developmental teachers, special education teachers - from 13 municipalities and 19 institutions across the country. Forums like this are rare but all the more useful, where professionals from different levels of education can meet, build relationships and learn from each other. It was a real professional workshop!<\/p>\n
